Katie Ellison is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, yoga instructor and Thai yoga massage practitioner from Los Angeles, California. She received her yogic training at Sivananda Ashram in Grass Valley, California and Soma Veda Integrated Traditional Therapies in Florida. She began practicing yoga to learn more about the mind-body connection and quickly discovered that she was missing an element-the soul! Now, she is convinced that yoga practice harmonizes the mind, body and soul which is the secret to achieving health and happiness! Katie combines her knowledge of nutrition with her experience practicing yoga to bring a holistic approach to her teachings. She believes that proper nutrition and yoga teach us self-acceptance and once we accept ourselves, we can accept others and live in joy and harmony!
