Sharon Emeigh is a recent graduate of the Yoga Teacher Training Program at Yoga Gem, LLC. For more than a decade, she has explored many styles of yoga practice and found that while styles vary there is one constant benefit in the practice of yoga: integrating the mind, body, and breath into one cohesive whole. She frequently hears misconceptions about yoga ranging from the idea that you have to be extremely flexible to do it to the idea that you have to go fast and hard to receive any benefits. This couldn’t be further from the truth in her experience. She is honored to have the opportunity to help students discover the true possibilities of yoking the mind, body, and breath by teaching the Hatha style of yoga, as it is an excellent way for anyone to access these benefits.
