Amy DeCal has been practicing yoga and meditation since 2012 and received her first 200 hour teaching certification in January 2014. With a strong passion for yoga, she has continued to teach, practice, and attend educational courses. She has taken instructor courses for the Ashtanga Primary Series with Tim Miller and PaddleYoga with Tara McCabe. She continues her college education as an English and Philosophy major in hopes of becoming a college professor. Amy’s classes are inspired from the Ashtanga Vinyasa method with slight deviations from the series to enhance core strength and deeper mobility into postures.
